Journey through time on the mountain:
Ancient life forms along the path.
The water has long since drained awau. Even so, countless traces of the sea creatures that once rules this area are still to be found in the fields and the hills of the Steinplatte. They are called fossils.
TRIASSIC begins at the foot of the Steinplatte.
Even at the bottom station of the gondola, you dive into the atmosphere of the ancient sea of Thetys: Visitors are transported to the mountain by special "deep sea gondolas".
