Winter hiking tour on the sunny plateau Westendorf

Start at the tourist office in the centre of Westendorf. Walk past the Gemeindamt towards Holzham. At Neuhaushof head right, onto the footpath leading to the Westendorf outdoor pool. From this point, the route takes us towards Weiler Au. Follow the road as far as the Gasthof Aunerhof. Directly before you reach the Aunerhof turn left into the forest. After a few hundred metres, the path heads left again, through the Auner Wood until you reach a clearing. Cross the road to the Lendwirt, and continue past the Waldstadion Westendorf football ground to the Forellenhof - Haus Innsbruck. You arrive back at the Holzham area along the forest track and tarmacked footpath. At the Niederbichlhof turn right onto the Dorfstraße and continue back along the road until you reach you start point.
