Those of you who have only experienced the gentle meadows and the mountain ranges in their white winter coat, really ought to hike through the green mountains in the warm months too – when the mountain springtime provides the Alpine meadows a million times over with vibrant splashes of colour; when in June/July complete mountain slopes are aglow with the red-green of the Alpine roses, or when you get fantastic clear views in the mild weeks of autumn.
