The ski area of Kitzbühel-Kirchberg  is perched 800 metres above sea level between “Kitzbüheler Horn” and “Hahnenkamm”. From the legendary "Streif" to the ideal beginner slopes, the Kitzbühel ski area boasts 170 km of the best prepared descents and 32 km of ski routes. Alongside the ski slopes there are countless romantic ski huts to be found.
 
 
For beginners and those making a skiing comeback, there is a special service: In every area of the Kitzbühel ski region the training lifts on the valley nursery slopes are free.

The following resorts form part of the Kitzbühel-Kirchberg ski area:
Kitzbühel, Reith, Aurach, Jochberg, Pass Thurn-Mittersill, Hollersbach and Kirchberg.

    The ski area Kitzbühel-Kirchberg ski area was awarded 1st place in the Skigebiete-test.de. The ski region was particularly commended for very good skiers, intermediates and après ski. Further awards: International Quality Seal for perfect ski slopes and night skiing pistes, best snow making.

    New for winter 2012/13

  • New 8 -seater chairlift "Zweitausender" with canopy and seat heating - replacing the old chairlift.
  • New 6-seater chairlift "Walde" with canopy and seat heating - replacing the old t-bar lift.
  • Further piste Extension at the piste "Familienstreif" (piste: family Streif) and piste "Kaser".
  • Investements for better and perfect grooming at the piste "Familienstreif" and "Kaser".
