Once again this year the lift companies are investing in the ski slopes of the Kitzbüheler Alpen, particularly in the snow making facilities. Also important is the building of modern lifts: comfortable and warm gondolas and cable cars are a given. You are sure to have a super week's skiing in the Kitzbüheler Alpen.

New for Winter 2011/12

Kitzbühel Ski Area

  • New 6 -seater chairlift Resterhöhe with canopy and seat heating - replacing the old chairlift Resterhöhe and the t-bar lift Moseralm
  • Piste Extension at the piste "Familienstreif" (piste: family Streif) in the upper parts
  • Pistes at Maierlbahn - optimization of the piste and surface
  • Comfort expansion at cable car Hahnenkammbahn - seat heating
  • new pist bullies and extention of the snow making facilities
  • Investements for better and perfect grooming
