The most beautiful view in the Tyrol - the Hohe Salve
This is without a doubt the most amazing view - the Hohe Salve. The imposing 'Grasberg' - a grassy summit, the highest point (1,828 m) - is shaped like a sphere. From there, a breathtaking view of the mountains can be seen in every direction - 360 degrees of alpine panorama: from the Wilder Kaiser to the Hohe Tauern, over the Kitzbüheler Alpen and as far as the Zillertal.
Pure nature - culture and tradition
Spend your holiday in unadulterated nature. In winter the Kelchsau valley is a paradise for ski tourers. In summer it is a secret 'top tip' for experienced hikers. You will come across all kinds of cultural hotspots when you are out and about in the resorts of the Ferienregion Hohe Salve. The Tyrolean pilgrim destination, Mariastein, is situated along the well-known 'Jakobsweg'. Just 150 steps take you to the chaple in the tower of the pilgrim church.
