Cycling and Mountain Biking Holidays in the "Kitzbüheler Alpen"

The fifeteen charming villages and he legendary sports town Kitzbühel are a cyclist's paradise. In summer, some 800km of cycling and mountain bike trails make this region the bike centre of the Alps. International cycling highlights take place every year aroung the famous Kitzbüheler Horn and the grassy mountains of the area:

• June: KitzAlpBike Festival (5 day event) in Kirchberg-Brixen-Westendorf and Kitzbühel. 2013 official host city of the Mountainbike World Championships

• July: Tour of Austria – final stage on the Kitzbüheler Horn.

• August: "Radweltpokal" and Cycling Week (the biggest cycling sports event in the world with 53 participating nations) – St. Johann in Tirol.
