Bavarian curling – a modern sport with a long history
The tradition of Bavarian curling (Eisstockschiessen) can be traced back over a hundred years, but it remains a modern sport. What started as aimless shooting in the wilderness now has aspirations to become included in the repertoire of Olympic disciplines. A team consists of four players. Scores are kept in “stick points”. In order to win, a team must slide or knock the opposing team’s sticks out of the way.
So much for the theory, let’s play…!
Have you ever tried Bavarian curling? It is fun!!!
