Tyrolean "Adlerweg" Trail
The
Tyrolean "Adlerweg" leads
300km straight across the Tyrol in 23 stages, from St. Johann in Tirol to St. Anton am Arlberg. The eagle was chosen as the symbol, because the direction the trail take is similar to the form of the birds' wings, and also because the 'king of the skies' embodies
pride, freedom and power - very much like the proud
"Land Tirol".The 'Adlerweg' starts in the middle of the Kitzbüheler Alpen, precisely speaking at Rummlerhof in St.Johann in Tirol. The first stage of the route continues up the Kaisergebirges via the Schleier waterfalls and on to Gaudeamushütte.
The first stage of the Adlerweg takes you along the Wilder Kaiser.
